Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 22, 2026
Autosnap AI (“Autosnap AI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting privacy and handling data responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information in connection with the Autosnap AI platform, including our website at https://autosnapai.com and our application programming interfaces, dashboards, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
Autosnap AI provides data infrastructure for the automotive industry. Our Services are offered on a business-to-business basis to companies, vendors, and platforms (each, a “Customer”) that integrate our Services into their own products. Our platform consists of layered products, including Origin (vehicle inventory data acquisition and normalization), Vault (data storage and retrieval), and Cortex (data intelligence and enrichment).
By accessing our website or using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- Visitors to https://autosnapai.com.
- Authorized representatives of Customers who register for and use accounts, dashboards, and API credentials.
- Data processed by the Services on behalf of our Customers.
This policy does not govern the privacy practices of our Customers or any third-party products that integrate with our Services. Customers are responsible for their own privacy policies and for their handling of any data they receive from the Services.
2. Information We Collect
Our Services are designed for business data infrastructure, not for collecting personal information from individual consumers. We collect the following categories of information:
Business Account Information. When an authorized representative of a Customer creates an account, we collect business contact details such as name, business email address, organization name, and the organization key used to associate the account with the correct workspace. We collect this information through account registration (including magic-link sign-up) and profile creation.
Authentication and Access Data. We generate and store API keys, organization identifiers, and workspace associations that allow Customers to authenticate and access the Services.
Usage and Technical Data. We collect operational data necessary to provide and secure the Services, including API request and response logs, usage metrics, webhook delivery logs, IP addresses, and timestamps. This data is used for service delivery, performance monitoring, billing, troubleshooting, and security.
Vehicle Inventory Data. Through the Origin layer, we acquire and normalize publicly available vehicle inventory information from dealership websites and related sources. This data consists of vehicle attributes such as make, model, year, VIN, pricing fields, vehicle descriptions, photographs, and dealership website associations. This is business and product data about vehicles, not personal information about consumers.
We do not seek to collect, and our Services are not designed to collect, sensitive personal information, consumer financial data, or information from individuals under 18 years of age.
3. A Note on Incidental Personal Data
Vehicle inventory listings on public dealership websites may, in rare cases, contain limited personal information that has been published as part of a listing. Where such information appears in source listings, it may be acquired and processed incidentally as part of the inventory record. We do not solicit, target, enrich, or independently compile this information, and we treat it solely as part of the vehicle inventory data delivered to Customers. If you believe personal information about you has appeared in data processed by the Services, you may contact us using the details in Section 11.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including account management, authentication, and API access.
- Process and deliver vehicle inventory data and related outputs to Customers.
- Monitor, secure, and improve the performance and reliability of the Services.
- Generate usage metrics and support billing and account administration.
- Communicate with Customers regarding service updates, technical matters, and support requests.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not use vehicle inventory data, Customer data, or business account information for behavioral advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles.
5. How We Share Information
We share information only as necessary to operate the Services:
Service Providers and Infrastructure. We use trusted third-party providers for cloud hosting, data storage, and supporting infrastructure. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
With the Customer. Vehicle inventory data and related outputs are delivered to the Customer that requested them through the Services. Account, usage, and log data is made available to the Customer's authorized representatives through the dashboard.
Legal and Protective Disclosures. We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or where necessary to protect our rights, security, or property, or those of others.
Business Transfers. If Autosnap AI is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
We do not sell information to third parties. We do not share Customer data or vehicle inventory data with third parties except as described above or at the explicit direction of the Customer.
6. Data Ownership and Customer Responsibilities
Autosnap AI processes vehicle inventory data and Customer account data to deliver the Services. Customers are responsible for their own use of any data they receive through the Services, including compliance with applicable laws and with the terms of their agreement with Autosnap AI. Restrictions on how Customers may use, store, and retain data delivered through the Services are governed by the applicable service agreement between Autosnap AI and the Customer; in the event of any conflict, that agreement controls.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website and dashboard use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for functionality, authentication, and basic analytics to operate and improve the Services. We do not use cookies for third-party behavioral advertising. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings, though disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the dashboard.
8. Data Storage and Security
Information is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and hashing of sensitive credentials, to protect data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. API keys and authentication credentials are stored using secure, hashed methods. No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Data Retention
We retain business account information for as long as a Customer maintains an active account, and as needed to provide the Services. Usage and log data is retained for operational, security, and billing purposes. Vehicle inventory data is retained and refreshed as needed to deliver current data to Customers and is handled in accordance with the applicable Customer agreement. Upon termination of a Customer's account or agreement, we delete or de-identify associated data in accordance with that agreement and our standard retention practices, subject to any legal obligations that require longer retention.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding personal information, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of business account information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address in Section 11. Because much of the data we process is provided or controlled by our Customers, requests relating to data delivered through the Services may be directed to the relevant Customer, and we will support our Customers in responding to such requests as required by law.
Where applicable, we support compliance with data-protection laws including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended.
11. International Data Transfers
Our infrastructure and operations are based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States. Where required, we take steps to ensure that such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards.
12. Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for business use and are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received such information, we will delete it.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will post the updated policy on our website and revise the Effective Date above. Material changes may also be communicated to Customers directly. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
